This Privacy Policy explains what information Predikt (operated by Predikt legal entity (to confirm) unverified) collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. By using Predikt you agree to the practices described here.

What we collect
Contact Info
- Email address and display name
- Basic profile (name, email, user identifier) from optional Google/Apple sign-in
- Support messages you send us
Create and secure your account, run your profile, and respond to support.
User Content (Play money)
- Markets you create, forecasts, and trades
- Comments, follows, play-money balance, and reputation
Power your profile, the leaderboards, and copy-trading. Play money has no cash value and is not redeemable.
Financial Info (On-chain, optional)
- Public wallet address, on-chain positions, and the signed orders you submit
Show your positions and route your orders when you opt into real trading. Your on-chain trades and settlements are recorded on a public blockchain by design — visible to anyone and permanent. We never take custody of your private keys or your USDC.
Identity Verification (Optional)
- KYC pass/fail result and the minimum needed to enable real-money features
Where real-money markets require it, identity verification and fiat on-ramp are handled by a specialized third-party provider that collects your identity and payment details directly. We receive only a pass/fail result, not your full identity documents.
Location (Approximate)
- Region derived from your IP address or a region you select

AI Drafting Prompts
- Text you enter into the market-drafting assistant
Sent to a third-party AI model provider to generate a suggested question and resolution criteria. Do not enter personal or sensitive information; we do not use your prompts to train models.
Diagnostics
- Crash reports and anonymous, aggregated usage data

What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
- We never take custody of your private keys or your USDC.

Third parties who process your data
We share data only with the processors below, each bound to use it only to provide their service to us. Items marked "unverified" are placeholders we must confirm and name before this policy is treated as final.
- Google, Apple — Optional social sign-in
- Predikt order relay — Matches and settles the signed on-chain orders you submit (first-party; never takes custody of keys or USDC)
- Public blockchain networks & dispute-based oracle — On-chain settlement and resolution — no single party, including us, controls the outcome

How we use your information
- Operate and personalize the app and its core features.
- Maintain your account, authenticate sessions, and provide support.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions/entitlements.
- Keep the service secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Improve the product through aggregated, de-identified analytics.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the service. Account data is retained while your account is active and for a short recovery window after deletion, then deleted or anonymized. Billing records are retained as required by tax and accounting law. Backups are purged on a rolling basis.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your jurisdiction you may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. You can delete your account and its server-side data from within the app, or by emailing us. We respond within 30 days.
Children’s privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA/UK) and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, hashed passwords, least-privilege access, and audit logging. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date and, where required, announced in the app.
